First & Main is our favorite restaurant in town! Take a stroll through downtown Turlock, check out the local shops, and then head to First & Main for an amazing dinner and drinks. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a night out in Turlock!

Dust Bowl Brewing Co. has amazing food, great beer, and the atmosphere is top tier. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some good vibes in Turlock! 🍻

A fun and unique spot to visit is the Hilmar Cheese Company, just a short drive from Turlock. Known for their delicious cheese and dairy products, they offer a great visitor center where you can learn about cheese-making, sample some tasty treats, and even grab lunch at their café.

Wedding morning (Saturday), don’t miss the Turlock Farmers Market! It’ll be in full swing with fresh local produce, handmade goods, and plenty of delicious treats. Stroll through the market to soak up the community vibes, grab a coffee, and maybe pick up some goodies to enjoy later.

A must-visit during your trip — whether it’s your first stop off the plane or a late-night bite. Here’s how we like it:

Sam: 3x3, spread only

Madison: 2x1, animal style, plus a whole grilled onion

If you’re looking to make a weekend of your trip, consider heading up to Yosemite National Park! It’s just a couple of hours away and is in one of California’s most iconic natural wonders.

If you want to skip the mountains, head to Napa Valley instead! You can’t go wrong with any winery you stop by, but Sam and I would be happy to share some of our favorites if you need recommendations.

Pro tip: If Napa is on your list, consider flying into SFO to make the trip even easier.

If you're looking to extend your stay after the wedding, we highly recommend heading up to beautiful South Lake Tahoe. It’s about a 3.5-hour drive from Turlock—not the easiest place to get to, but absolutely worth it. It’s one of our favorite places to escape to! We love going on hikes and spending time by the lake—there’s nothing like those mountain views and fresh air to help you relax after a fun weekend.
